An empathetic approach to executive functioning

Many adults who have continued difficulty with executive functioning carry feelings of defeat, anxiety, and shame around their struggles. Many adults with ADHD or isolated executive functioning challenges also possess unusually high levels of intuition, creativity, and social-emotional intelligence among other incredible strengths that shine bright. When we are feeling trapped or ashamed, we often lose sight of our many strengths, and that shine and sparkle dulls.
Cat is passionate about creating a space that feels safe, inclusive, and encouraging of all individuals with a variety of strengths, challenges, identities, and lived experiences, and uses a strength focused approach to executive functioning coaching. Cat helps clients to identify and utilize their strengths and talents in creating and implementing strategies, rather than relying on strictly conventional strategies that are often rooted in skills that folks with ADHD do not find intuitive. It’s time to get that sparkle back!
